The CIF Southern Section baseball playoffs kicked off Thursday and Friday afternoon with first-round games.
Here are highlights from the games involving Inland teams.

Vista Murrieta 8, Harvard-Westlake 6: Vaughan Neckar hit a two-run homer in the first inning, and RJ Holmes added a three-run homer late in the inning to help the Broncos (23-5-1) win their playoff opener. Vista Murrieta scored all eight run in the opening frame. Neckar earned the win, and Dylan Berentis picked up the save. Vista Murrieta plays at St. John Bosco on Tuesday.
Los Osos 7, Cypress 5: Evan Jones and Andrew Cromwell each went 2 for 3 with two RBIs as the Grizzlies (20-8) won their playoff opener. Jordan Mejico picked up the win in relief, and Zenen Pena earned the save. Los Osos plays at top-seeded Corona on Tuesday.

Etiwanda 11, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 6: LJ Roellig homered and drove in three runs to lead the Eagles (15-12-1) to victory. Angel Mejia also hit a home run. Michael Aleman went 5 2/3 innings to earn the win. Etiwanda hosts Gahr on Tuesday.
Oaks Christian 9, Redlands East Valley 2: Cash Dabbs drove in a pair of runs in the loss for the Wildcats (20-9).

San Dimas 6, Calabasas 1: James Rocha and Dean Brosterhouse combined for a three-hitter and nine strikeouts as the Saints (16-10) won their playoff opener. Josh Calcanas went 2 for 4 with a solo home run. San Dimas plays at top-seeded Colony on Tuesday.
Arrowhead Christian Academy 7, Dana Hills 2: Deegan Martinez drove in three runs to lead the Eagles (18-11) to victory. Diesel Toth and Tyler Young each hit a solo home run. Bobby Mahoney went five innings to earn the win. ACA plays at Warren on Tuesday.
Cajon 4, Hart 2: Gavin Garcia allowed two runs in 6 1/3 innings as the Cowboys (20-8) won their playoff opener. Ryan Contreras drove in two runs. Cajon plays at Beckman on Tuesday.
Temecula Valley 4, St. Paul 3: Rocco Pugliese scored the winning run on an error with no outs in the bottom of the 12th innings as the Golden Bears (17-11) won their playoff opener. Taden Krogsgaard pitched 6 2/3 innings of scoreless relief to earn the win. Temecula Valley plays at Great Oak on Tuesday.
Yucaipa 6, Serra 3: Jason Franco went 3 for 3 with two RBIs to lead the Thunderbirds (18-10) to the victory. Logan Pashman went six innings to earn the win, and Xavier Romero picked up the save. Yucaipa plays at Glendora on Tuesday.
Beckman 13, Temescal Canyon 4: Jonathan Reece drove in two runs in the loss for the Titans (22-6-1).
Castaic 7, Paloma Valley 6: Jaxon Baker and Robby Bland each homered in the loss for the Wildcats (18-11).

Elsinore 4, Covina 0: Brayden Stankus and Andrew Jimenez combined for a three-hitter as the Tigers (19-7) won their playoff opener. Elsinore hosts Bishop Montgomery on Tuesday.
Riverside Poly 7, Hueneme 0: Danny Bedford allowed two hits and struck out 12 batters over six innings to lead the Bears (15-11) to victory.
