A man died after he was found shot multiple times in Yucaipa on Saturday, May 31.
Deputies responded around 6:40 a.m. to the Oak Glen Wash near Avenue D, where they found Kenneth Xiong, 19, shot multiple times. Xiong, of Fresno, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Dennis Wright, 21, of Yucaipa was arrested the next day on suspicion of murder.
Sheriff’s Department officials said Wright and Xiong knew each other but didn’t specify the nature of their relationship or the circumstances that led to the shooting.
