The city of Jurupa Valley is teaming up with Target for an in-person job fair for the bullseye retailer from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 6 at city hall.
A city representative said more than 1,300 applications already have been received for the anchor store coming to The Shops at Jurupa Valley. The Target at 8063 Mission Blvd. will be the first for Jurupa Valley.
Job fair attendees must register online first in order to get an invitation to the event. That website is corporate.target.com/careers/location/2916. While in the career portal, applicants must complete a “quick video interview” before they’ll get that invitation.
Jobs available at Target’s hiring page include a human resources expert, a food and beverage team leader, Starbucks barista, retail specialists for beauty, style and tech departments, cashiers, general merchandise and inventory management.
Since it debuted a year ago, The Shops at Jurupa Valley has added a bevy of new merchants to the city landscape. In-N-Out, Aldi, Starbucks, Raising Canes, Chipotle, Quick Quack Car Wash, EOS Fitness, AutoZone, Mattress Firm, West Coast Dental and others are open at the sprawling shopping center.
