Burlington Stores is opening two stores this fall in San Bernardino County, both of them taking the place of shuttered 99 Cents Only Stores.
The first one is coming to Colton at Centrepointe Plaza at 1080 South Mount Vernon Ave.
The other is under development in Montclair, just a short walk from the Target at Montclair Plaza North at 5200 Moreno St.
The discount retailer offers a wide variety of clothing, housewares and merchandise for the home. The company says its newer stores come designed with a better experience for shoppers, including bigger and bolder signage and wider aisles.
The company will be hiring for both stores in the coming weeks. Interested applicants should go to BurlingtonStores.jobs
Stay tuned for an opening date later this year.

Industrial complex rising in Hesperia
Work has begun on a 406,138-square-foot industrial development in Hesperia.
The industrial property at 9260 Mesa Linda St. should be completed in the second quarter of 2026, according to Voit Real Estate Services, which is partnering with Newcastle Partners in San Francisco.
The building is going up on an 18-acre lot with access to the 15 freeway. So far there is no tenant or buyer for the property, Voit reps said.
Voit noted that Amazon occupies more than 4.5 million square feet of Class A distribution warehouse space in Hesperia.
“Hesperia offers a unique combination of lower occupancy costs, abundant labor, and direct connectivity to both the Ports and major western distribution corridors via I-15, advantages that set it apart from competing submarkets,” said Courtney Wing, vice president of Development & Construction at Newcastle Partners.
