A man and woman were found fatally shot inside an Altadena home on Friday night, Dec. 20, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said. Deputies were responding to a welfare check made around 8:04 p.m. at a home on the 700 block of West Sacramento Street. Once inside, they located the two bodies. The investigation is ongoing. A 17-year-old girl was stabbed to death in Azusa on Friday night, Dec. 20, authorities said, and an 18-year-old boy has been taken into custody.Azusa Police Department officers responded around 10 p.m. to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon on the 300 block of North Soldano Avenue, near Third Street and west of the Azusa High School West Campus. RIVERSIDE — Riverside city officials warned visitors to the city’s Festival of Lights this weekend to be aware of a scam regarding parking pay stations in and around the downtown area. City officials said on Thursday scammers have put numerous fake QR codes on most parking pay stations near the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, directing users to a fake website that asks for a person’s credit card information.
