Elections officials in Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties on Tuesday, Dec. 3, certified results from the Nov. 5 general election. California usually takes weeks to count ballots in a state with almost 23 million voters, most of whom cast mail-in ballots requiring verification before they’re tallied.

Final statewide certification by the California Secretary of State is expected by Friday, Dec. 13.
These results will stand unless a recount changes a race’s outcome. Any voter can seek a recount of a race up to five days after an election is certified, but the person asking for the recount must pay for its cost — often thousands of dollars or more.
Here’s a look at who won various offices in San Bernardino County.
