HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — One individual was airlifted and several others transported to local hospitals following a multi-vehicle collision Friday night in Hesperia.
The incident occurred on December 13, 2024, at approximately 7:30 PM at the intersection of Bear Valley Road and Hesperia Road.
The collision involved five vehicles: a red Dodge Ram pickup truck, a white Tesla, a dark blue Toyota Camry, a gold pickup truck, and a South West Gas pulling a trailer with heavy equipment.
Emergency personnel responded requesting a helicopter to airlift one person suffering from critical injuries. Additionally, three other individuals were reported to have sustained minor injuries.
In response to the accident, authorities closed the intersection in all directions to facilitate the investigation, the removal of the vehicles, and the cleanup of debris scattered across the road.
Sheriff’s officials indicated that road closures would remain in effect for several hours.
The Hesperia Police Department is conducting an investigation into the cause of the accident, with further information expected to be released as it becomes available.
