Each student performance also helped raise money for Rialto schools.

It was the 19th annual The Ritz, the Rialto Unified School District’s talent show gala staged Saturday, April 26. The event at Carter High School in Rialto, often dubbed the “Grammys of Rialto,” included a silent auction.
It’s also an award-winning show, having earned a 2023 Golden Bell Award from the California School Boards Association.
RITZ, which stands for Rialto’s Incredible Talent Zone, generates money for the Rialto Unified School District Sharing Our Love Foundation.
So far, the program has brought in more than $550,000 for students, teachers and families in the district, helping with uniforms, competitions, art supplies and other needs, Rialto schools spokesperson Syeda Jafri said in an email.
This year’s show was hosted by Rialto school alums Bobby “Ahvlah” Ross Avila and Issiah “IZ” Avila, who are songwriters, producers and musicians.
