The Redlands Bicycle Classic kicked into high gear Wednesday, April 9, with the first of more than a dozen races planned over a five-day period.
The 39th Classic opened with the Lake Perris Time Trials for women and men, an 11.2-mile race at the Lake Perris Recreation Area. Events continue daily through Sunday at various locations in the region.
In addition to the loop around the Perris reservoir, this year’s courses include a mountain climb along Highway 38 and a fun ride that will take riders as far as Yucaipa and Oak Glen.
